Teen from Lindsay charged in Leslieville brawl that left one hospitalized
An 18-year-old faces seven charges after a fight on Queen Street East and Leslie Street in May left one victim slashed with an edged weapon.

An 18-year-old from Lindsay has been charged with seven offences in connection with a brawl in Leslieville on May 31.
Police say the fight broke out around 10:30 p.m. in the Queen Street East and Leslie Street area. One man was sprayed with a noxious substance during the incident, while a second victim was slashed by someone with an edged weapon. The victim with the slash wound was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Liam Jackman has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon dangerous, assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, assault, and three counts of administering a noxious thing.
Following Jackman's arrest, investigators said they are not looking for any other suspects in connection with the brawl.
