Toronto police have arrested three people in connection with two robberies at the same store near Bloor and Dufferin in May, with officers recovering significant stolen merchandise during follow-up searches.

Police allege the suspects entered the store twice — on May 22 and May 27 — stealing merchandise valued over $5,000 each time. After executing multiple search warrants across Toronto on May 28, officers recovered $12,000 in stolen property.

Shikoya Salmon, 35, and Deneika Thompson, 37, both Toronto residents, were arrested Monday and each charged with two counts of theft over $5,000. Nikki Kelly, 37, also from Toronto, was arrested Wednesday and faces two counts of theft over $5,000 and four counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

All three are scheduled to appear in court on August 26. The quick recovery of stolen goods suggests the investigation moved swiftly from initial reports to charges.
