Toronto man charged with antisemitic threats

A Toronto man was arrested Friday and charged after sending antisemitic communications to a community centre near Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue West, then attending the centre to utter antisemitic threats.
Thomas Andrew Hardcastle, 50, faces two charges: criminal harassment and uttering threats. Police alleged he sent communications containing antisemitic content to the centre, then showed up in person to direct threats at victims.
Hardcastle is scheduled to appear in Toronto court on September 3, 2026.
