Two Boys Arrested in Leaside Bridge Officer-Strike Case
A 12-year-old and 14-year-old were charged in connection with a stolen vehicle that struck an officer in East York on Monday.

Toronto police have made two additional arrests in the case of an officer struck and seriously injured by a vehicle on Leaside Bridge Monday.
A 12-year-old boy was arrested and charged with theft of a motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and dangerous operation of a conveyance. A 14-year-old boy was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
An earlier arrest of another 12-year-old—the alleged driver—resulted in charges including attempted murder for allegedly driving the stolen vehicle that struck the officer and fleeing the scene.
Police were called to Donlands Avenue and O'Connor Drive in East York at 1:04 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a stolen vehicle.
