Two killed, five wounded in mass shooting at Toronto's Salsa on St. Clair festival

Two people were killed and at least five others were injured during a mass shooting at Toronto's Salsa on St. Clair street festival Saturday evening.
Toronto police issued a public warning at 8:20 p.m. about an active shooter at the festival near St. Clair and Arlington Avenues. Police located seven people with gunshot wounds; two were pronounced dead at the scene.
Paramedics were captured on video performing life-saving measures on victims as crowds fled. Authorities secured the scene shortly after 9 p.m. and cordoned off several blocks of St. Clair Avenue.
Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots followed by screams as crowds ran for cover. Police have not announced any arrests or disclosed how many suspects they are searching for. "A large police presence remains in the area as officers continue their investigation," police said in a statement, urging the public to avoid the area.
