Two young boys found dead in Ottawa murder-suicide investigation
A wellness check Monday morning discovered two children, ages 7 and 10, in a Leitrim home. Their father was found dead in a vehicle fire.

Ottawa police found two boys, aged 7 and 10, dead inside a home on Mandevilla Crescent during a wellness check around 10:00 a.m. Monday. The children's names are not being released at this time.
Police also located the children's father dead in a vehicle fire on Highway 416 at Rideau River Road around 5:30 a.m. the same morning. The carpool lot in Kemptville was closed for investigation.
Ontario Provincial Police are holding a scene of a business fire in Iroquois for Ottawa police as part of the investigation. Investigators are assessing connections between the incidents but say there is no ongoing threat to the public.
