One person is dead after being struck by a vehicle following a large fight in North York early Sunday morning, with Toronto police investigating the incident as a homicide.

Officers responded to reports of a group fighting near Keele Street and Wilson Avenue around 6 a.m. on Sunday, June 14. At the scene, they found one person who had been struck by a driver in a vehicle and was pronounced dead. Another person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A light-coloured vehicle was seen fleeing the scene, but investigators do not have suspect descriptions at this time. Police said they would not share additional details while the investigation is early, and did not provide information on whether the victim, driver, or other injured person were involved in the initial fight.
