Woman sought in assault at Main Street Station elevator
Victim transported to hospital with minor injuries after May 28 incident. Police release suspect photo, ask for public help.
Toronto police are seeking a woman in connection with an assault at Main Street Station near Danforth Avenue and Main Street.
The incident occurred around 5 p.m. on May 28 in an elevator at the station. The suspect allegedly assaulted a woman, who was transported to hospital with minor injuries. The assailant then fled the area.
Police describe the suspect as being between 30 to 40 years old, six feet tall, and last seen wearing a grey sweater, black top, black shorts, and a bonnet bandana. She was also carrying a green and red reusable bag and walking with a toddler.
Her photo has been released. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
