Chez Céline is bringing back its rotisserie chicken dinner next month, and if last year is any guide, reservations will move fast.
Listed on the menu as Rotisserie Québécoise, the meal pairs crispy frites, coleslaw classique, and rich gravy with a grilled potato bun and a Rossdown Family Farms chicken roasted to golden perfection. "We're thrilled to bring one of our most nostalgic and beloved dining experiences from Québec to Chez Céline," the restaurant wrote on OpenTable. "Rainy autumn days in Vancouver are the perfect setting for rotisserie chicken dinners for two or more."
Half birds are $39 and full dinners $69. A Smash au Sucre ice cream sundae is available to order for $15. The dinner runs every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from October 13 through November 26, but only through prepaid reservations — walk-ins won't be seated for this special.
Chez Céline, the sister restaurant to Michelin-starred St. Lawrence, describes itself as "a kitchen of honest cuisine" and was named number 10 on Canada's 100 Best Best New Restaurants list. The restaurant is located at 4298 Fraser St.
