Coast's $68 Summer of Lobster menu offers three courses through July 31

A Vancouver seafood restaurant is serving multiple courses of lobster for $68 per person through July 31, offering unexpected value in a city where deals have become scarce.

Coast, located on Alberni Street alongside other major restaurants, has long been known for its seafood offerings and annual oyster-eating contest. The "Summer of Lobster" menu is a three-course, lobster-focused feast available now through the end of July.

Your meal begins with a choice between three different appetizers, each focused on lobster. The Miso Butter Lobster Roll is a sushi roll featuring lobster, miso, yuzu mayo, tobiko, and avocado rolled in soy paper and topped with crispy lotus root chip. The creamy Lobster Velouté comes complete with a chunk of lobster and is topped with spicy lobster oil. The Lobster Louie features a jammy soft-boiled egg and plenty of lobster on top.

For the second course, diners choose from three dishes, each served with one pound of lobster. The Classic Lobster Boil comes with plenty of butter and Old Bay seasoning. The Lobster Thermidor is a decadent dish topped with lemon hollandaise and served with buttermilk mashed potatoes and asparagus. The Lobster Casarecce Con Salsiccia pairs lobster with pasta made with pork and fennel sausage ragout reminiscent of Italian zuppa toscana soup.

For the final course, things move away from lobster with a choice between the Coast classic Warm Banana and Coconut Butter Cake or the refreshing Coconut Lime Panna Cotta.
