Duffin's Donuts gets its own T-shirt in Roots' Pit Stops Summer collection
The East 41st Avenue donut shop joins five other iconic Canadian food stops in a limited-edition merchandise collaboration celebrating regional culinary pride.

Duffin's Donuts, a family-run Vancouver institution, is now part of Roots' newly launched Pit Stops Summer '26 merchandise collection celebrating some of Canada's most memorable food destinations.
Founded in 1987, Duffin's has become a regular on local best-donut lists, known for friendly staff, a generous selection of varieties, and consistently fresh donuts. The menu is approachable: a regular donut costs $2, a fancier fritter $2.95, or a full dozen for $20. Beyond donuts, the shop also serves fried chicken and sandwiches.
The Roots collection also features St-Viateur Bagel and La Banquise in Montreal, The Big Apple and Webers Burgers in Ontario, and the original COWS Ice Cream in Prince Edward Island. The graphics were created in collaboration with Toronto-born multidisciplinary artist Moya Garrison-Msingwana, whose work is also known under the name Gangbox. The illustrations draw inspiration from the "unique identity and iconic menu items that have defined these beloved destinations for generations, transforming them into wearable pieces that celebrate regional pride, culinary culture, and shared nostalgia."
To help celebrate the launch, Duffin's hosted a donut pop-up at the Roots store on Robson Street.
