Kids Up Front Vancouver is hosting More Than a Movie on Sunday, August 16 at BC Place. Families and individuals can watch Pixar's Hoppers on the world's second-largest four-sided centre-hung HD video board while helping children in need.
Each ticket purchased includes free admission for a youth from an equity-seeking group to attend. Kids Up Front partners with over 100 child-serving agencies in Greater Vancouver to ensure all children have access to fun experiences, particularly those facing barriers including poverty, illness, minority status, and newcomer circumstances.
Doors open at 11 a.m., and the movie begins at 1:30 p.m. Before the screening, on-field activities include kicking soccer balls with the Whitecaps and throwing footballs with the BC Lions and their respective team mascots.
