False Creek Crab Fest is back on July 26, bringing the waterfront's working harbour to life with BC's iconic Dungeness crab and West Coast seafood culture.
The fourth annual festival runs noon to 4 p.m. at False Creek Fishermen's Wharf. Tickets include a whole locally harvested crab prepared in a crab boil created by acclaimed chefs Vish Mayekar and Johnny Bridge, paired with BC craft beverages. The setting—the scenic backdrop of Vancouver's active fishing dock—offers a rare chance to connect directly with the fishers who harvest the food while watching the CN Tower and North Shore mountains frame the scene.
Beyond the crab: live music, games, educational booths, and a celebration with purpose. Proceeds support the BC Crab Fishermen's Association and Chefs' Table Society initiatives, including culinary scholarships, mentorships, and sustainability work.
Early-bird tickets are $65 per person through June 14. General admission (June 15 onward) is $70, and day-of tickets are $75, subject to availability. Each ticket includes one crab plate, a sweet treat, and two beverage-tasting tickets.
