Machine Gun Kelly, performing as mgk, brought his genre-blending Lost Americana Tour to Rogers Arena, mixing rock, rap, hip-hop, pop-punk, and country in a high-energy show that showcased the versatility of his 2025 album.
mgk opened with "FIX UR FACE," a Limp Bizkit cover that set the stage on fire with flames and fireworks. He performed new material from lost americana, including "outlaw overture," "starman," "miss sunshine," "goddam," and the acoustic anthem "cant stay here," sporting red, white, and black gear matching the album's cigarette-pack aesthetic.
The tour was originally supposed to feature rapper Wiz Khalifa, with whom mgk recently collaborated on the blog era boyz project. However, Khalifa was denied entry to Canada due to outstanding warrants—mirroring a similar situation when 21 Savage was denied entry during Drake's 2023 Vancouver stop. mgk expressed his disappointment with the Canadian government but proceeded to perform Khalifa's verses solo on "girl next door," "everything tatted," "MPH," and "Mind of a Stoner," though the dynamic between the two artists was greatly missed.
mgk then shifted into his pop-punk era, breaking out his pink Telecaster for tracks like "title track," "bloody valentine," "forget me too," and "drunk face" from Tickets to My Downfall. He moved to a b-stage for acoustic renditions of "times of my life" and "27," plus covers of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car" and Nickelback's "Rockstar." Returning to the main stage, he closed with the final run of lost americana cuts.
Despite a half-filled arena, mgk kept the crowd captivated throughout, demonstrating an unmatched stage presence and instant connection with his audience.
