Vancouver's got a full slate of World Cup events and summer activities this week. Here are a few worth checking out.

Deckchair Cinema returns to The Polygon Gallery's waterfront deck on Lower Lonsdale starting Thursday, June 25. The open-air film series, now in its fifth year, features music, entertainment, food, and drinks. Admission is by donation, courtesy of BMO Financial Group, and includes entrance to the gallery's summer exhibitions. The series runs every Thursday through August 27, with music and concessions opening at 7 p.m. and screenings starting at sundown.

At The Westin Bayshore, the Bay'Score Soccer Experiences fan zone offers match viewing on a massive LED Infinity Wall, plus soccer-inspired games and stadium-style food and drinks. The space is complimentary with a $30 minimum food and beverage spend per person for a three-hour experience. Pre-purchase Sip, Snack & Play combos let fans save on match day. The fan zone is open during select World Cup matches through July 11.

The ninth annual Black Music Month Festival takes place Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27 at City Centre Artists Lodge on Main Street. This year's theme, "Black to Da Future," celebrates Afro-diasporic music and artistic innovation across soul, rock, punk, electronic, and storytelling. Day passes are $20, two-day passes are $40, with free admission for children under 12.

FlyOver's limited-time exhibition of Chicago closes Wednesday, June 24. Located at Canada Place, the immersive experience lets you explore the city from above. Check the website for various showtimes.
