Krispy Kreme's beloved Hot Light offer has returned to participating Theatre Factory locations across Canada, letting customers grab a free Original Glazed doughnut fresh off the line whenever the red light is on.
The offer is live at Theatre Factory locations in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec — but not at Krispy Kreme cafes. B.C. locations include a store at 7135 120th St. in Delta. Alberta has two: 4614 Gateway Blvd NW in Edmonton and 9629 Macleod Trail in Calgary. Manitoba's participating location is at 465 Sterling Lyon Parkway in Winnipeg. Quebec has three: 600 Auguste Ave. in Greenfield Park, 1140 Autoroute Chomeday Ouest in Laval, and 1257 Boulevard Charest Ouest in Quebec City. Ontario has three locations as well: 2458 Lakeshore Blvd. West in Toronto, 5920 Rd. in Mississauga, and 4411 Kingston Rd. in Scarborough.
The Original Glazed doughnut is Krispy Kreme's signature offering, and the appeal of this promotion is the heat — doughnuts fresh from the production line carry a warmth and crispness that sets them apart. The Hot Light tradition has powered impulse visits for decades, a simple visual signal that the best version of the product is available right now.
The company has not stated an end date for this promotion, how many locations are participating in total, or explained why the offer is limited to Theatre Factory locations rather than all Krispy Kreme locations.
