A motorcycle and pickup truck collided at the intersection of 8th Street and 8th Avenue in New Westminster on Wednesday afternoon around 2 p.m., sending the motorcycle rider to hospital with serious but stable injuries.
BC Emergency Health Services transported one person to hospital following the crash. New Westminster Police Department (NWPD) confirmed the injured person was the motorcycle rider and described their condition as serious but stable.
The collision closed the area to traffic Wednesday afternoon while NWPD officers gathered evidence. The investigation remains in its early stages, and police have not released the cause of the collision.
