Pickup truck and e-scooter collide in Richmond; rider hospitalized

A pickup truck and a person riding an e-scooter collided on Friday, July 10, around 3:50 p.m. near Westminster Highway and Minoru Boulevard in Richmond.
The e-scooter rider sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment and assessment.
Police say the investigation is in early stages. RCMP are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to contact the Richmond RCMP and reference file number 2026-21789.
