A serious collision between an SUV and commercial truck at 208th Street and 16th Avenue in Langley left one person in critical condition on July 16. The crash occurred around 12:50 p.m., prompting response from Township of Langley Fire Department, BC Ambulance Service, and RCMP.

One individual was airlifted to a local area hospital in critical condition. The Lower Mainland Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) was deployed to assist with the investigation.

Road closures are expected to remain in place for several hours while police investigate. Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage is asked to contact the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 and quote file number 2026-22350.
