Live soccer on big screens runs free through July 19. Theatre, concerts, and festivals line the summer calendar across multiple Surrey venues.

Surrey is ramping up its summer calendar with World Cup celebrations, live theatre, concerts, and festivals across multiple venues through July and August.

Surrey Soccer Fan Zones celebrate FIFA World Cup with live soccer games on big screens, food, entertainment, and more. The Surrey Civic Plaza hosts the main zone through July 19 with free admission. Additional sites open at Cloverdale Agriplex on July 1 and South Surrey Athletic Park on July 14.

On the theatre side, Fraser Valley Musical Theatre presents "Cinderella" at Surrey Arts Centre's Main Stage from June 26 to July 5 with eight showtimes. The production adapts the iconic 1957 CBS broadcast starring Julie Andrews. For tickets, call 604-501-5580 or visit purchase.surrey.ca.

Lee Harris brings "The Oneness Experience" to Bell Performing Arts Centre on July 2 — a 3-hour live theatre event blending insight, healing, and music with the internationally acclaimed teacher and musician. Details at bellperformingartscentre.com.

Musical performances include Hugh Penner's jazz concert on Friday, June 26, at Northwood United Church, Fleetwood venue (5 p.m. start), a fundraiser for his Juilliard School studies with $25 general admission advance tickets via zeffy.com. FVDED in the Park, Surrey's largest annual ticketed music festival, runs July 3–4 featuring headliners Dom Dolla and Fisher, attracting close to 25,000 people daily. The Sounds of Summer concert series runs free through July and August on Wednesday evenings from 6:30–8 p.m., plus special Friday matinees on July 24 and August 14 from 1–2:30 p.m. Diverse genres from rock, jazz, and country to Punjabi fusion perform across Surrey's parks and outdoor spaces. Ragas Reimagined, co-presented by Indian Summer Festival, comes to Surrey Arts Centre on July 17 at 7:30 p.m., bringing two extraordinary ensembles — Raga Echoes with special guest Gurmukh Singh, plus Indo-jazz ensemble Raagaverse led by vocalist Shruti Ramani and pianist Noah Franche-Nolan, with tabla and ghazal master Cassius Khan. A Soulful Musical Evening celebrates the 10th Anniversary of the Jain Temple on Sunday, July 19, at Bell Performing Arts Centre, blending devotional music, Bollywood melodies, and cultural performances. Details at bellperformingartscentre.com.
