B.C.'s anti-gang police agency has seized significant quantities of drugs, guns, cash and other items from locations in Delta and Coquitlam targeting an organized crime group in the Lower Mainland.

The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of British Columbia (CFSEU-BC)—an integrated police agency comprised of more than 400 officers from all B.C. police departments—began its investigation in October 2025. The probe focused on an organized crime group believed to be involved in a drug trafficking network supplying illicit substances to Burnaby, Vancouver, Coquitlam, Richmond, New Westminster and Surrey.

On June 2, CFSEU-BC investigators, assisted by the Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team, executed four search warrants at locations in Coquitlam and Delta. The seizures included roughly two kilograms each of fentanyl and crack cocaine, half a kilo of crystal methamphetamine, 50 pounds of vacuum-sealed cannabis, one Glock 9 mm handgun with magazine, a second unspecified Glock handgun, approximately 20 kilograms of caffeine (used as a cutting agent), around $21,000 in cash, about half a pound of psilocybin and multiple cellular phones.

"This investigation targeted a longstanding drug trafficking enterprise operated by an organized crime group that is alleged to have generated significant illicit profits over many years," said Staff Sgt. Ryan Johnston, acting operations officer with CFSEU-BC.

Multiple individuals were arrested during the enforcement action and released pending further investigation. Charges are anticipated.
