Delta police are asking the public to help identify the driver or registered owner of a white Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab seen near where a woman's body was found last Wednesday in a burned field.
Emergency services were called to the 6400-block of River Road on Aug. 26 to deal with a fire. Once extinguished, the body of an adult female was discovered. The woman's identity has not been released.
Police say they received video footage showing the white Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab in the Tilbury area between midnight on Aug. 25 and the morning of Aug. 26. Investigators want to speak to the driver, as they may have information that could assist the investigation.
The 6400-block of River Road is a sparsely populated area with industrial buildings to the north and farmland to the south.
Police are asking anyone with dash-cam or CCTV footage, or information about the vehicle, to contact Delta Police.
