Vancouver-based lululemon ranks second among Canada's best companies in 2026, according to Time magazine's second annual ranking published last week.

Time partnered with Statista to evaluate 125 leading Canadian companies on revenue, employee satisfaction, and sustainability transparency. Lululemon received an overall score of 95.30, placing it behind only TD Bank (96.89). The athleisure brand ranked first overall for sustainability transparency, 14th for employee satisfaction, and received an "outstanding" rating for revenue growth.

Forestry company Teck Resources, clothing retailer Aritzia, and BC Ferries also made the list, but lululemon's performance stood out among Vancouver companies. The brand has been in the spotlight following its December announcement that CEO Calvin McDonald would depart, with founder Chip Wilson publicly calling for "revitalization and an infusion of new skills" to return the company to being "product-first."

Time noted that lululemon had opportunities for global exposure after outfitting Team Canada for the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, and is expanding into more technical performance-geared apparel across different sports to grow beyond its yoga origins. The ranking highlighted Canadian banks' strong earnings throughout 2025, with TD placing fourth for employee satisfaction.
