Vancouver police search for 87-year-old Tina Lam missing since Monday afternoon

Vancouver police are asking for the public's help finding Tina Lam, an 87-year-old woman with dementia who has been missing since approximately 3:30 p.m. today.

Lam was last seen walking southbound on Cambie Street from West 41st Avenue in Vancouver. She is described as an Asian female, approximately 4'11" (150 cm) with a slim build, black hair, and brown eyes. She was wearing a white floral-patterned jacket, black T-shirt, black pants, and beige shoes.

Lam is very mobile and does not require help walking, but she may appear confused or lost. She speaks Cantonese and very little English.

Anyone who sees Lam is asked to call 911 immediately and remain with her until police arrive. Vancouver police said Lam's mobility means she could be anywhere in the city by now, making a quick public response critical.
