Vancouver Police are searching for Jose Aguirre, 84, who has been missing since approximately 10 a.m. Saturday, September 12, from his home near Commercial Drive and East 16th Avenue. Aguirre has dementia.

Police say he frequents Clark Park, north of his home, and Famous Foods on Kingsway near Dumfries Street. He is a Hispanic man with a slim build, short grey hair, and a salt-and-pepper beard.

Aguirre was last seen wearing a red sweater, a shirt with red and grey squares, and grey pants. He may also be wearing brown slippers and eyeglasses.

If you locate Aguirre, stay with him and call 911 immediately, police ask. Anyone with information about his whereabouts can contact Vancouver Police at the non-emergency line.
