Belgian waffles and gelato spot opens in Marda Loop

Glacé Bébé is bringing Belgian waffles and gelato to Marda Loop, a new all-day spot for coffee, sweet treats, and casual hangouts.

The concept centres on fresh, golden Belgian waffles paired with artisanal gelato by the scoop or milkshakes. The menu also includes barista-style drinks—coffee, matcha lattes, chai, and more. The shop will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., making it a destination for breakfast, lunch, afternoon treats, or evening dessert.

Marda Loop has long been a neighbourhood for independent food spots and local gathering places. Glacé Bébé fits that pattern—a casual venue where friends and families can spend time and soak in the neighbourhood vibe without pretense.

An opening date has not yet been announced, but the shop is expected to launch soon.
