Calgary police charged three men following a major drug trafficking investigation that began in June 2026. Search warrants executed on September 29 at two residences — the 200 block of Riverstone Place S.E. and the 2800 block of First Street N.W. — yielded two handguns, approximately 1,275 grams of cocaine with a street value of roughly $62,000, 137 Gabapentin pills valued at approximately $700, and $4,565 Canadian currency plus $100 U.S. currency.
Tariik Rahim Jennas, 25, was arrested at one residence and charged with possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition, possession for the purpose of trafficking, and proceeds of crime under $5,000. Jennas is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday, October 7.
Danial Jivar Najafi, 21, was also arrested at a residence and charged with possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition, possession of a weapon obtained by crime, proceeds of crime under $5,000, and two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking. Najafi appears in court Wednesday, October 7.
Noah Mohammed Dugsiya, 20, was arrested during a traffic stop and charged with proceeds of crime under $5,000 and two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking. Dugsiya is scheduled to appear in court Friday, October 16.
