Live Bowl'd opens permanent Whyte Avenue location

Live Bowl'd, the smoothie bowl shop that built a following at Bountiful Farmers Market, opens its first permanent location on Whyte Avenue on Tuesday, June 23.
The spot at 10336 Whyte Ave. will serve more than just smoothie bowls. The menu includes bowls, smoothies, avocado toast, waffles, iced lattes, and other beverages — the full range of health-focused eats the trailer and market booth became known for.
The açaí berries in every smoothie bowl are ethically sourced from Brazil, certified organic, and fair trade. The team emphasized on Instagram that there won't be a big grand opening. "Just open doors, familiar faces, and a lot of gratitude," they said, addressing both longtime supporters from the food truck era and people discovering the shop for the first time.
"For years, we wondered when the right time would be to open a permanent location. The truth is that time has arrived because of you," the team wrote. "You showed up. You supported us. You shared with us your friends and family. You kept us busy, encouraged us to keep growing, and helped turn this dream into a reality."
