Police Hunt Suspect in March Construction-Site Arson

Edmonton police are asking for public help in identifying a person of interest linked to an arson on March 19 in south Edmonton.
At around 11:50 a.m. that morning, Edmonton Fire Rescue Services contacted police about a fire at an under-construction residence near 108 Street and 85 Avenue. After initial investigation, authorities determined the fire was deliberately set.
No one was injured, but the damage was substantial: the residential unit was destroyed, and neighboring homes and several parked vehicles in the area sustained damage. The fire's deliberate nature and the extent of destruction have made this a priority investigation for the department.
Edmonton police are asking anyone with information about the arson to contact them. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers. Details about the person of interest have not yet been released publicly.
