King West's Animl Steakhouse has added a $126 hot dog to its menu in honour of former Toronto Blue Jays star Bo Bichette, who is back in town this week while the Jays face the New York Mets.
The Bo Dog consists of a wagyu wiener topped with truffle corn relish, butter-poached lobster, and seared foie gras. It's a far cry from ballpark franks, but it's also a benefit: 100 per cent of proceeds from every Bo Dog sold will be donated to Bichette's charity, which supports children with disabilities.
Bichette, an outspoken fan of Animl, was even offered free steak for life from the restaurant should he re-sign with the Jays during his free agency after the 2025 season. He didn't take that deal, but his friends at the steakhouse are celebrating him anyway.
The Bo Dog will be available June 29 through July 1, during the Mets' visit to Toronto. Animl Steakhouse is located at 420A Wellington Street West.
