An 18-year-old Toronto driver has been charged with dangerous operation of a conveyance causing death after a white Nissan Pathfinder struck and killed a 37-year-old woman on Bathurst Street near Lonsmount Drive on Friday afternoon.
Jacob Sanchez lost control of the northbound vehicle, which mounted the curb and struck the woman as she walked on the east sidewalk going southbound. She was transported to hospital in life-threatening condition and pronounced dead on Saturday.
