The Don Valley Parkway and Gardiner Expressway will close Sunday for the 20th annual Bike for Brain Health, the charity ride supporting Baycrest Foundation.

Cyclists can choose to ride 30, 60, or 90 kilometres, starting from the Aga Khan Museum on Sunday morning. The event draws hundreds of riders and supporters, making it one of the city's larger weekend cycling events.

Beyond the highway closures, expect adjustments on the TTC's Line 2 and service changes on the Lakeshore West and Barrie GO lines. Plan your commute accordingly if you're moving around the city Sunday — avoid downtown east-west routes if possible.

This is a heads-up for anyone with weekend plans downtown or near the waterfront: give yourself extra time and consider alternative transit.
