Multiple road closures across Toronto this weekend will complicate travel as the city hosts FIFA World Cup matches, a major cycling event, and several street festivals.

College Street between Bathurst and Shaw Streets closes Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14, for the Taste of Little Italy festival. The street reopens Monday at 3 a.m.

The Queensway from Sherway Gardens Road to The West Mall will close Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. to accommodate thousands of cyclists participating in an annual charity ride for the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. Northbound lanes on The West Mall and the westbound curb lane on Bloor Street West will also close during those hours.

Portugal Day Parade, relocated this year from its traditional Dundas Street location due to scheduling conflicts, will close St. Clair Avenue West from Robina Avenue to Old Weston Road on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oakwood Avenue and Caledonia Park Road will also be closed to accommodate the parade.

Additional closures are in effect Friday afternoon for Canada's World Cup match. The TTC is ramping up service to the stadium to handle crowds.
