Kyle Lowry received Toronto's highest civic honour on Saturday: the Key to the City, presented by the Mayor at Jurassic Park during a free block party organized by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment.
Lowry played nine seasons with the Raptors starting in 2012, becoming a six-time NBA All-Star who holds franchise records for assists, steals and three-point field goals. His leadership brought Toronto its first NBA Championship in 2019.
The Mayor said: "Kyle Lowry gave Toronto more than unforgettable moments on the court, he gave our city his heart. His leadership, determination and generosity reflect the very best of Toronto. Kyle will always be a champion, a proud Torontonian and the Greatest Raptor of All Time. It is an honour to present him with the Key to the City."
Lowry signed a ceremonial one-day contract earlier this summer to officially retire as a Raptor. On January 10, 2027, his No. 7 jersey will be raised to the rafters at Scotiabank Arena.
