Parking enforcement officer struck by driver in Queens Quay area after issuing ticket
Police are searching for a driver of a white 2017 Mercedes-Benz C63S convertible who hit the officer Monday around 2:25 p.m. near Queens Quay East and Richardson Street.

Toronto police are investigating after a parking enforcement officer was struck by a vehicle following a heated confrontation over a parking ticket Monday afternoon.
Officers were called to the area of Queens Quay East and Richardson Street around 2:25 p.m. The parking officer had issued a ticket to the driver of a white 2017 Mercedes-Benz C63S convertible. Upon returning to the vehicle, the driver got into an argument with the officer.
The driver then got back into the car and drove away, striking the parking officer and damaging another vehicle in the process. The driver fled westbound on Queens Quay East.
The officer sustained minor injuries. Police describe the male driver as having a medium build with shoulder-length hair in braids. He was wearing a black hat, white t-shirt, black shorts, and white shoes. Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators.
