TTC Line 5 Eglinton and Line 6 Finch West hit by service suspensions
Track and mechanical issues forced partial suspensions Friday evening, with shuttle buses deployed on both corridors during rush hour.

Service was partly suspended on two major TTC lines Friday evening during rush hour due to operational issues.
Line 5 Eglinton was shut down between Cedarvale and Mount Dennis stations because of an unspecified track problem. Shuttle buses ran along the affected stretch of Eglinton Avenue.
Line 6 Finch West was suspended between Finch West and Tobermory stations due to a mechanical problem, with shuttle buses operating along the eastern part of the corridor.
The private-sector maintainers for both lines were responding to the issues.
