Peel Region police are searching for Andrea Cederberg, 33, of no fixed address, in connection with more than 40 vehicle break-ins across Mississauga in early September.
Investigators say vehicles were broken into on September 3 and September 6 in the early morning hours—either by smashing windows or through unlocked doors. No vehicles were stolen, but valuables were taken from each one.
Cederberg faces 23 charges of attempting to commit an indictable offence, nine counts each of mischief over $5,000 and theft under $5,000, and one count of theft over $5,000.
The investigation has linked her case to a recent arrest: 34-year-old Cody Lowden, who faces 71 charges for similar vehicle break-ins across the region. Detectives are examining possible connections between the Mississauga incidents and comparable crimes reported across the GTA in Halton, Toronto, York and Waterloo Region, suggesting an organized pattern rather than isolated incidents.
