Four Bite Burger fills the gap between fancy and basic with hand-crafted sliders

The team behind Bovine Rice Bowls is debuting a new slider concept called Four Bite Burger inside Bentall Centre's food court, officially opening September 24.

"We want to cook the food we love to eat," said founders Jeremy Lau and Peter Yau. "Everyone loves a good burger, and we are no exception. In our city, you can get everything from an egg or avocado topping to a microgreen salad on your beef. There's room for those things, but sometimes you just want a classic burger, and we felt like there was a gap between fancy and basic."

Four Bite Burger fills that gap with hand-crafted sliders available in packs of two, three, or four, each served with seasoned curly fries. The foundation is straightforward: ground beef blend seasoned and cooked with thinly sliced onions, topped with melted cheese and house sauce, all on a perfectly steamed potato roll. "We don't want to do too much," Lau and Yau said.

Beyond sliders, the menu includes grilled cheese sliders, crispy chicken strips, and fresh kale Caesar salads. The kitchen is led by chef Mario Regaldo, who brings over two decades of experience, with Kristi Koike—former Bovine kitchen manager—heading the front of house.

The spot has been softly open and will host its grand opening Wednesday. It operates Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 105–505 Burrard Street inside the Bentall Centre food court.
