Ramen Danbo, the Japanese ramen chain that's drawn lines out the door at three other Vancouver locations, is opening its fourth spot on Main Street in Riley Park.

A soft opening is planned for July 15, with limited hours—11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily until July 21. The grand opening follows a week later on July 23 at 11 a.m.

The new location sits at 3982 Main Street in a new building. The chain is known for its Fukuoka-style tonkotsu ramen—pork broth with thin noodles—a signature that's kept people lining up at its Kitsilano, Kerrisdale, and Robson Street locations since the first Vancouver outpost opened in 2015.

Danbo expanded internationally from those early Vancouver stores, opening in Seattle, New York City, and London. This marks its return focus to the city where it started, adding to a neighbourhood already dense with food options along the Main Street corridor.
