Wild Blue Restaurant + Cocktail Bar in Whistler has been named one of North America's 50 Best Restaurants, landing at No. 47 on the 2026 list announced this week at a live awards ceremony in New Orleans.

The recognition marks a major milestone for the restaurant, which opened in 2022 and has quickly established itself as a leading dining destination across the region. The kitchen is known for Pacific Northwest-inspired cuisine, sustainable seafood, premium steaks, and a raw bar program backed by an award-winning wine list. Hospitality, the restaurant says, is elevated yet warm.

The restaurant's rise has been swift. Since opening, it's earned Best Whistler Restaurant at the Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards, No. 2 Best New Restaurant in Canada from Air Canada enRoute, and Best New Restaurant in North America from the World Culinary Awards.

Neil Henderson, partner and restaurant director, said the 50 Best recognition reflects "the passion, consistency, and care our team brings to every guest, every night." Chef and partner Alex Chen added: "For us, it has always been about building something that reflects both place and people."

Wild Blue joins an elite group of restaurants voted on by 300 anonymous industry experts — a mix of chefs, restaurateurs, food journalists, and gourmets — who selected the year's most exceptional dining experiences across North America. The restaurant anchors Whistler Village's modern dining scene while drawing attention to the resort as a destination for world-class food.
