Pleasant Day Festival returns to Mount Pleasant on August 8, celebrating the neighbourhood's community, culture, and businesses along Main Street from 16th Avenue to King Edward Avenue.
The day-long event runs from noon to 8 p.m. and features four outdoor stages with live performances, a local vendor market, dozens of food trucks, and interactive zones for all ages. Chapman's is bringing its Chill Zone pop-up to the festival, serving free samples of its Super Premium Plus ice cream line.
Chapman's Super Premium Plus is made with high-quality ingredients and known for its ultra-creamy texture. The line won three international awards at the 2024 International Ice Cream Consortium Conference: Best Caramel Ice Cream for Salty Caramel Crunch, Silver in the Best Ice Cream category for Cherry Cheesecake, and Bronze in the Most Innovative Ice Cream category for Cold Brew Coffee.
