Neptoon Records on Main Street is hosting a vinyl release party for the Heated Rivalry soundtrack on Friday, July 10, drawing fans of the Canadian series that became an international phenomenon.
Heated Rivalry, starring Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, captured audiences worldwide for its depiction of love between two rival hockey players and its groundbreaking representation of queer relationships in professional sport. The original soundtrack mixes songs from the series, official score, and collectible inserts, plus a bonus track "One Soul (Cottage Mix)" exclusive to the vinyl release.
The event begins at 4:45 p.m., with the music starting at 5 p.m. Entry is free and all ages are welcome—no ticket required. Attendees will receive party favours while supplies last, and those who purchase a CD or vinyl get an extra gift. A secret grand prize will be drawn at the end of the night, though you must be present to win.
Entry is first-come, first-served, so arriving early is recommended. Neptoon notes this is only the second time they've had to turn people away from a listening event, but with high demand expected, arriving semi-early increases your chances at freebies and a good spot. The soundtrack is available on both vinyl and CD at the event.
