The Odlum Brown VanOpen, the largest pro tennis tournament in Western Canada, will return to West Vancouver from July 26 to August 2. The event features men's ATP Challenger 125 and women's WTA 125 tournaments held at Hollyburn Country Club.

The tournament has had a rocky recent history. It was first held in 2002 but was cancelled during the pandemic in 2020 and 2021. It returned in 2022, then skipped 2023, 2024, and 2025 while Hollyburn Country Club underwent renovations. Six players who competed at the last VanOpen are now ranked in the world's top 40, including Arthur Rinderknech (28), Ugo Humbert (29), and Zizou Bergs (35) on the men's side, and Maja Chwalińska (22), Emma Navarro (26), and Wang Xinyu (40) on the women's side.

The men's and women's tournaments each offer $225,000 in prize money. The men's field includes eight players who featured in the main draw at Wimbledon, headlined by France's Benjamin Bonzi, ranked 93rd in the world. Rising star Pablo Llamas Ruiz, 23, became the youngest Spaniard to win an ATP Challenger title since Carlos Alcaraz in 2023. Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis, known from Netflix's Break Point, is coming as a qualifying wild card entry.

The women's draw is headlined by world No. 99 Lanlana Tararudee of Thailand. France's Kristina Mladenovic, once ranked 10th in the world, also competes; she recently won the doubles championship at Wimbledon. Canadian entries include Kayla Cross from London, Ontario (ranked 197) and Carol Zhao of Richmond Hill (ranked 216).
