Burnaby police seek suspect in knife-wielding road rage incident
Man allegedly threatened driver on Boundary Road in April, attempted to open passenger door before producing knife.

Burnaby RCMP are asking the public to help identify a suspect in a road rage incident on Sunday, April 19, 2026, on Boundary Road near Grandview Highway.
The victim reported being verbally threatened by another driver who allegedly made gestures with a knife. Police say at one point the suspect was close enough from his own vehicle to attempt to open the passenger side door of the victim's car several times before producing a knife and making threatening comments. The victim's vehicle had two passengers on board.
"Our actions and words have consequences, and nobody should have to go through what the victims in this incident went through," said Corporal Mike Kalanj with the Burnaby RCMP department.
The victim took photos of the suspect before the vehicle fled the scene. Anyone with information about the suspect or the incident is asked to call Burnaby RCMP at 604-646-9999, quoting file number 2026-13301. Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
