Beloved dim sum chain Dinesty Dumpling House expands to Coquitlam Centre food court

Dinesty Dumpling House, the Vancouver dim sum favourite known for handcrafted soup dumplings and noodle dishes, is expanding eastward with a new location inside Coquitlam Centre's food court.

Coquitlam Centre announced the coming addition on Instagram, saying the restaurant will join the mall's food court lineup soon. An exact opening date has not yet been announced.

Dinesty currently operates multiple locations throughout Vancouver, including outposts on Robson Street and West Broadway, along with several branches in Richmond. The restaurant has built a loyal following around its signature soup dumplings—delicate, filled parcels served in their own broth—and hand-pulled noodle dishes that draw lineups during peak hours.

The expansion into the suburbs marks a strategic move for the restaurant, bringing its accessible dim sum offerings to a Coquitlam audience. The food court setting positions Dinesty alongside other casual dining options while maintaining its core appeal: quality handcrafted dumplings without the sit-down restaurant overhead.
