North Delta police are investigating a series of catalytic converter thefts from multiple vehicles on Modesto Drive that occurred overnight between 11 p.m. on June 6 and 8 a.m. on June 7.
Total estimated damage from the thefts is approximately $4,000. Police found no CCTV footage or witnesses to the incidents.
The thefts are part of a broader crime pattern in the area. According to North Delta police reports released this week, officers also responded to a vehicle break-in on June 4 near the Public Safety Building, where electronics, sunglasses, and sports equipment valued at over $1,000 were stolen. That vehicle was locked with no visible signs of damage, and no CCTV was available.
