A person was shot inside a parked Tesla on the 10600 block of 64th Avenue in Delta early Sunday, September 6, around 4:33 a.m.
The victim sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital in stable condition. The vehicle, which had an Uber sticker on its window, was struck by multiple bullets — the windshield shows several bullet holes and the passenger side shows two more.
The suspect vehicle, a grey Kia Forte, fled the scene before officers arrived. Delta police assessed the incident as isolated with no ongoing risk to the public. The 10600 block of 64th Avenue was closed in all directions during the investigation.
