Jawad Mazen Fawwaz, who was previously charged with mischief for driving his car into Burrard Inlet during a social media livestream stunt two years ago, is now facing dangerous-driving charges following a high-speed collision in New Westminster on March 30.

That collision, near the intersection of 6th Avenue and McBride Boulevard, involved two vehicles. One flipped into nearby hedges and landed on its roof. "With the amount of damage these vehicles sustained, it's a miracle no one was seriously hurt," said Sgt. Jacquelyn Mula at the time.

Fawwaz was previously sentenced to one year of probation for the 2024 livestream stunt. Court records now show he has been charged with one count of dangerous driving related to the March collision. He has an extensive history of Motor Vehicle Act violation tickets.
