Surrey Police are searching for two suspects who damaged nine vehicles in a vandalism spree in the city's Newton neighbourhood early Wednesday, July 15.

Officers responded to reports of an in-progress mischief around 5 a.m. near 75 Avenue and 147A Street. Upon arrival, the suspects had already fled, but police found that windows on nine parked vehicles had been broken — damage to front, rear, and side windows across the group.

Investigators released CCTV images of the suspects, both males with slim builds wearing dark clothing. They appear to have used clubs or bats to damage the vehicles. Police are asking anyone who recognizes the suspects or has dashcam footage of the incident to call Surrey Police Service at 604-599-0502 and quote file 26-73430 (SP). The incident comes less than a week after a separate fire at Surrey City Hall caused significant property damage.
