Targeted shooting damages vehicle in Surrey's City Centre
Surrey Police are investigating an early-morning incident Tuesday in which an unoccupied vehicle was hit by gunfire near Central Avenue and 133rd Street.

Surrey Police are investigating a targeted shooting that occurred early Tuesday, June 16 in the City Centre neighbourhood.
Officers responded to the incident around 2:04 a.m. near Central Avenue and 133rd Street and found an unoccupied vehicle had been damaged by gunfire.
Although the investigation is in its early stages, police believe the shooting was targeted and "not extortion related." Surrey Police's Major Crime Section is leading the investigation, and officers were expected to be in the area Tuesday to search for additional evidence.
Chilliwack RCMP asked anyone with information about the incident—including CCTV or dashcam footage—or who may know the identities of the suspects to contact SPS's non-emergency line at 604-599-0502 and reference file number 26-61609 (SP).
